The R's of Growth

"Reset, refocus, readjust, restart

What is Online Learning?

"Reset, refocus, readjust, restart — as many times as you need to."

Reset

Real estate is fast-paced and emotionally demanding. Deals fall through, leads ghost you, clients change their minds — and it can all hit hard, especially when you're new.
Resetting means giving yourself permission to pause. Clear your mind, take a breath, and step away from the noise. It's not giving up — it's choosing to regain clarity before moving forward.

Example: If you just lost a big deal you were counting on, instead of spiraling, take a moment to reset your expectations and your energy. Get grounded again.

Refocus

When you're pulled in a dozen directions — chasing leads, trying to understand contracts, learning your MLS system — it's easy to lose sight of your "why" or your daily priorities.
Refocusing is about realigning with your vision. Ask:

  • What is most important today?

  • What actions move me closer to my goals?

Example: If you’ve been stuck in “busy work” like tweaking your website or scrolling social media, stop and ask: “What revenue-generating activity should I be doing right now?”

Readjust

The market is  shifting. Clients change their minds. Your systems might not work as planned.
That’s okay — adaptability is your secret weapon.
Readjusting is about being flexible without being discouraged. It means updating your approach based on feedback and results.

Example: If your current lead script isn’t converting, it’s not a failure — it’s feedback. Tweak your script, ask a mentor for insight, or roleplay with a colleague.

Restart

Starting over doesn’t mean starting from scratch — it means starting from experience.
Every day is a fresh opportunity to show up stronger. You’re building muscle, skill, and mindset every time you restart with intention.

Example: If you’ve been in a slump or haven’t closed anything in months, recommit. Set new goals. Build a new routine. Show up like it’s Day 1 — but with everything you’ve learned so far.
